PHILOSOPHY

Never stop learning. This is the first thing I think of when asked how to become better at any endeavor. I read books and articles on the craft of acting; I consume memoirs and interviews of actors and actresses I admire; I go to the movies and watch television shows from across generations and genres; I study the classics of the silver screen; I go to the theater, the ballet, the opera. I dive deep into different acting methods to home in on what makes them most useful, and I play back and forth to keep my own method fresh and flexible.

I believe that the performing arts - movies, television, theater, ballet, opera, and more - are more than just entertainment. This area of art gets at the heart of what it means to be human, 

The other thing I believe in
